Online Government
Tanzarine Technology completed long term projects in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2008 working with various organisations as part of the UK government's electronic services initiative, with a further major project now under way heading into 2009. The UK government's drive is to carry out an increasing proportion of its transactions electronically, and there are many projects in progress in various Civil Service departments.
Tanzarine Technology provides consultancy and development expertise in both the client and server side environments, but since 2006 the emphasis has been on "Single Sign On" solutions for authentication and authorisation to online services.
Internet Consultancy
In 2005 and 2006, Tanzarine Technology provided extensive consultancy and application development expertise for a leading City financial information provider.
Tanzarine Technology has also provided HTML and web expertise for a specialist retailer, and Internet consultancy for a leading West End law firm. In addition, the company also delivered a fully configurable web-based file upload and distribution utility for an Essex based solicitors.
Corporate Intranet
Tanzarine Technology, working in association with Andor Information Technology, successfully delivered in 2001 a custom intranet messaging application for a supplier of mobile telephone equipment. This followed on from a successful collaboration in late 2000 on a custom search engine facility for a human resources intranet project within a leading investment bank in the City of London. The base search index is generated automatically by scanning the HTML documents which make up the intranet, following which staff can assign keywords to each index record if required.
Content Management
The company has a long standing policy of using content management to maintain web sites, either using XML and XSLT (which is used to drive this web site), or the company's own proprietary content management software, which is used the maintain the web sites for BCS Essex Branch and Essex Business Club.
